Judy (left) and Nancy were Navy “brats”. If you had met them, you wouldn’t want to use that word as a descriptor either. Really, they are both grandmothers and lack behavioral issues. As kids, they travelled extensively, moving every two years to places like the Philippines, Panama, Key West, Washington, D.C., Hawaii, and even Connecticut.
Now Judy (left) lives in Florida and Nancy, the baby, on the Cape, but they see each other every year or so. When i had the pleasure of listening to them laugh together while finishing each other’s sentences, I found myself wondering whether moving a lot might be a strong and durable glue for sibling relationships.
